My daughter really wanted a puppy, and I literally found Milo the same day I started looking for a Cavalier. It was just so meant to be.
It’s been a tough couple of months for us, and he’s brought us so much comfort and joy. Snuggling, sleeping on us, just pure love.

November makes me happy for no particular reason.. okay birthday month is a big reason 😂 Diwali, Dhanteras, lights everywhere, getting dressed and eating mithai like it doesn’t count.

So yes, a little extra happy this month. November has always been my favourite.

Salute to Thierry Henry for drawing attention to the racially motivated mass shooting in the Paris suburbs of Trappes and La Verrière.

Speaking on CBS Sports’ UCL Today show, the Frenchman paid tribute to the victims of the October 23 attack, while expressing his anger at the violence and the weight of constantly having to prove your Frenchness.

Pengo Bossio Wangi, a 26-year-old MMA fighter, was killed in the shootings, while seven others were wounded, including a 12-year-old girl. A 39-year-old man has since been charged and remanded in custody, with prosecutors saying he admitted deliberately targeting people he perceived as Muslim, African or North African.

“I’m Black. I’m French. I’m a dad. That could have been my brother. That could have been my daughter,” Henry said.

The Golazo show is known for its camaraderie and banter, but Henry showed there’s always room to use your platform for something bigger. Many of its viewers may never have heard of Trappes, but he took the time to name Pengo and call the attack for what it was: racism.

Henry has spent more than two decades speaking out against racism, but one of the most powerful moments came when he questioned why people like him still have to prove they belong.

“Do we have to always show that we are French?”

Pengo’s name deserves to travel far beyond the news cycle. Thanks to Thierry, it just did.
