At the time of D.r Christine Ford's rpe accusations toward Kavanaugh I found myself telling a coworker @alx_thewinder, "Yeah, he's a dirtbag but why is she only now coming forward?"

I immediately felt sick to my stomach - I had repeated the same propaganda I had grown up with: "She's just trying to ruin his life... it's for the publicity... why now... I bet she's looking for a paycheck...."

I was ashamed that I championed myself as a man who honors womanhood but here I was questioning the validity and motive of a SA victim.

Let's stop the abuse.
"Grab em by the pussy' is not locker room talk.
"Quiet, piggy," is not appropriate language toward female professionals.
Never say, "Boys will be boys."

Teach consent.
Teach boundaries.
Teach that once they make the choice to defile and abuse a woman - of any age - they have no allies and will never find peace.

This institutional/systemic rape culture needs to end right fking now.
