Follow @findforgottensongs for the greatest forgotten songs and timeless moments in music.

Released in 1978, “Stumblin’ In” brought together two distinctive voices from the British rock scene—Smokie’s Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro. Instead of a heavy rock arrangement, the duet leaned into warm guitars, soft harmonies, and an easygoing rhythm that gave it a completely different feel.

The song became an international hit, reaching the Top 10 in several countries and becoming especially popular in Germany and Australia. Its relaxed chemistry and unmistakable late-70s sound have made it one of those duets that instantly brings back the era.
