My leucostele chiloensis are getting insane spines! All different field numbers too. First one is the absolute best so far. Very long with curving and twisting shapes. its: Chilo var zizkianus ch1623 Seron.

Beauties! I've come to appreciate this species after some initial disappointment over how much slower they grow than the other trichocereus lol (I know it's not technically a tricho anymore but whatever). Do you know anything about the term zizkianus? Mine had that descriptor too but the seller couldn't tell me anything about it. Some other sellers have it online but none have any info, llifle lists the synonym but again, no info on the origin of it.
