Adding an attic fan to this home. First I framed out where the opening will be. From there I used an oscillating saw to cut out the OSB down to the stucco. I then drilled holes in each corner to use as indicators on the outside for those cuts. I traced out the outline for my cuts. I used a circular saw with a masonry blade to cut the stucco. Sealant was applied around the opening, then pressed vent cover into position. I used TapCon screws to fasten the cover to the house. As an extra measure, I ran a thin bead of sealant around the perimeter of the cover. Back in the attic I mount the fan and control module, and connected to power. Lastly I installed the panels around the fan.
