The nephew of frankenstein.
This came out of the last bit of foam that was too flat to make anyone else's board out of.
My max available nose rocker was 2 3/4" and only 3/4" tail rocker.
Normally this kinda blank would end up a finless but this one whispered "gimme fins boss"
To off set the flatness i put in a heap of concave in the nose and extra vee in the tail on the toe side, this gives the feeling of nose rocker without it actually being there and the extra vee on the toe side losses it up.
When I asked the blank "what about yr rails" it replied " I want them hard tucked edges from nise to tail like what great uncle Maurice does "
How could I say no?
As an opportunistic investigator these are the kinda of boards that I learn the most from.
There's the never ending chance to get "better" at all the technical aspects of the caft of creating a board out of a bunch of raw materials, i love that part of the refinement process too.... but going out into the weeds is the 💎
