Sometimes we feel very exhausted. Sometimes we are frustrated by so much effort for so little return. Sometimes the psychopath at the deli puts an absurd amount of mustard on our sandwich, ruining it. We become despondent.

Then we have a show at LOLA like the one last night - MIP Power Trio, Blackout Orchestra and Night Society - and we remember why we put in the effort. A great show is a delicious sandwich with the perfect amount of condiments.

Thank you music. Thank you to the people who play it, and the people who join us in appreciation of it.

[Videos: (1) MIP Power Trio, (2) Blackout Orchestra, (3) Night Society]. Horribly filmed on a garbagephone by a tech-unsavvy idiot (me). I think some of that excess mustard might be on the lens. But it sounds wonderful.]
