President Donald Trump agreed Wednesday with Vice President JD Vance that the Iran war contributed to Republicansโ€™ midterm losses, but said he would make the same decision again. โ€œI think itโ€™s largely true,โ€ Trump said, pointing to a short-term rise in gasoline prices. He defended the war as necessary to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
