Megan James

@megan__james works with foraged California clay, mixed with rainwater and coffee. She builds the color slowly, misting and painting thin layers until the surface turns soft as suede and darkens toward the edges.

@atelierohara interprets letters and words through their shape, rhythm, and movement, then writes them in a language that is uniquely his own. Familiar forms are turned, repeated, connected, and layered until they begin to resemble a kind of modern hieroglyphic.
