I went looking for wildlife this morning.
The forecast promised clear skies.

I’ve had the itch to wander,
to find something wild,
but lately, luck has been quiet.

I left before dawn.
The fog was so thick
the road disappeared ahead of me.
•
So I drove toward the sea.
Where the fog came and went,
revealing the morning in pieces.
•
Maybe that wasn’t such a bad thing.
Because the photographs from Friday
finally found their place beside today’s.
