These last few weeks of carrying you feel so bittersweet. We’ve dreamed about the day we’d meet you for so long, and now we’re almost there. Soon, we won’t feel your little kicks from the outside or wonder what you’ll look like — we’ll finally get to hold you in our arms and we are so excited.

To my future husband, I will never be able to put into words just how grateful I am for you. From the moment we saw that positive pregnancy test, you have carried me through every single day. There hasn’t been a day where you haven’t made sure I was smiling, feeling good, and as comfortable as possible. You have made growing our son feel so much easier, and I hope you know how much that has meant to me.

Watching you love and take care of me throughout this pregnancy has made me even more excited to watch you become a dad. I feel so confident going into this next chapter because I know I get to do it with you by my side. I already know we’re going to be the best parents we can be to JaKari, and I can’t wait to watch you two build a bond that I know will be so special.

Thank you for loving me, for loving our son, and for loving us the way that you do. JaKari is already so lucky to have you as his daddy, and I’m so lucky I get to call you my future husband.
