La MaMa ETC

A lost cinematic vision from Academy Award winner Andrzej Wajda finally comes to life on stage.
ㅤ
Created by composer-performer Blanka Barbara Stahl (@blankabarbaramusic) with BAFTA-winning choreographer Anthony Matsena and producer Ignatius Sokal.
ㅤ
A dance-theatre spectacle reviving a lost cinematic vision of Oscar laureate Andrzej Wajda—based on a true story he heard from an actor in 1972 but never brought to the screen.
ㅤ
Fusing a live electro-acoustic score, bold choreography, and three-screen video design, Blokowisko explores love, memory, and urban resilience under oppression.
