All Power To The People. 4 Years ago I created a Post Modern Bridge program, connecting Howard University with a public charter school in Ward 7 SE. K-12 ED after covid was challenging to say the least. I sought ways to re engage this generation of youth from an academic lense.
Through indirect and direct mentoring, strategic program development, operational support, and field trips to HU campus where k-12 students participated in dental class we were able to inspire a generation of youth to once again dream with no limits. As well as apply to college in greater numbers, and be accepted in greater numbers. One scholar even recieved a scholarship to Howard, although she chose a full ride to University of South Carolina.
This program ran strong from 2022-2025.
NO FUNDING JUST PEOPLE POWER.
