St. Demetrios Pray for Us
I had the pleasure of learning how to write my first Icon of St. Demetrios the great martyr. The weekend was spent in contemplative prayer and concentration. Learning all new techniques under the Cretan school of Byzantine writing. There is something very special in taking the time, care, and detail in creating an image that can connect us between the veil. To build relationship with the sacred and profound.
