a month agoAgree with soffits keep it wired to a switch in a closet near by(smart switch for convenience) Two by your bed one for each person, think about vacuuming and how long of a reach you need. (Using two outlets at my home to vacuum my living room) Outside outlets by front and rear doors. Garage outlets, one right by the car door entrance, another for a fridge outside and another one or two for a work bench.
a month agoMake sure you have separate lighting circuits, otherwise when you plug in a vacuum cleaner the lights dim.
a month agoUnlimited license holder here, put the directly under your switches so you can plug in vacuum when you put furniture in the room. I like to keep them up next to door, or on same stud as switch box. Also some to consider: For ironing For charging iPad/laptop For interenet router Both sides of bathroom vanities On ceiling on porches (lights) For vacuuming car In closet for gun safe/other
a month agoSoffit outlets for Christmas lights outside, outlets in the garage for a deep freezer and/or extra fridge, floor outlets in your living room for electric couches and under desks in your office, tray ceiling lighting, under cabinet and toe-kick lighting in the kitchen, outlets in your vanity drawers for your hair tools, sconce lights in lieu of standard vanity lights above the mirrors, and i really like pendant lights from the ceiling above nightstands instead of lamps. And think of dimmer switches where you'd like ambient lighting. And motion sensor lights out back especially if you have pets! And maybe an electric car charger in the garage.
