One of a kind. Rarity, fire and detail.
I designed this ring around an exceptionally rare 1.8ct fire opal sourced from Western Australia.
Set in 18ct yellow gold, I chose a bezel setting for the centre stone, flanked by baguette cut white diamonds and round brilliant cut diamonds that follow the curves of the setting.
What I love about this stone is the colour. Unlike the opal most people are familiar with, fire opal has this incredible orange red body colour, while still carrying those flashes you expect to see in an opal.
Fire opal is rarely found in Western Australia, and this particular stone was sourced and cut specifically for this piece.
Designed to be worn now and passed down through generations.
