Rubén Gerena during a talk back for Black Warrior Angel, a theatrical work-in-progress written by Xavi Burgos, a Dark Matter Resident of Elastic Arts, in collaboration with La Escuelita Bombera de Corazón for Afrofuturist Weekend.

This is the first in a two-part reading, as part of my series of new art works titled, “A New History of the Puerto Rican Peoples,” told in poetry, play, song, fabric, painting, performance, music, dance, ritual, and revolution.
