i might have to rename this one to “a small price to pay”.
wrote this a few months ago not knowing that our president would respond to me a few months later

people are not a small price to pay. just as you get to live laugh love— we all do. at a price WE can agree to. why are we still allowing this old man to do anything? just because we bicker and argue, does not mean that either one of us gets to be blown up. why is he the only person who can threaten to murk entire civilizations without being held accountable for the weight of his words and why are we even surprised that he would say that about us?

i have BEEN upset about the state of this world and admittedly, i feel paralyzed by what i should do. so i write these thoughts down, disguised as a love song, and throw it into the void. but should anyone find this, i hope you are violently reminded that everything is hypothetical, but every hypothetical can still happen.
