I will not stop talking about the lack of accessibility at a Grand Prix just because we’ve moved on to a different event. This is something that is always need to be talked about, so we can ensure participation for everyone is possible 🫶🏽

Unless venues change, I've got no hope of attending one. For days out like this I would be in a wheelchair, and it's a nightmare to get around a venue like the NEC when it's busy, nevermind at something like an F1 race. But thank you for starting this to put our voices out. We aren't seen as a target demographic because we take up too much room and money.

This just in, disabled people are no longer allowed to enjoy and participate in things they like!

The only GP I went was in Singapore. It was excellent for people with disabilities. I enjoyed it much with my family. They are well aware regarding PWD. Thank you Singapore GP.

This has really hit a nerve for me. Thank you for bringing this to everyone’s attention! We missed race day at silverstone last year because of accessibility issues for my daughter. However the new Landostand is amazing for accessibility and after being invited to meet Lando at MTC we were made to feel very welcome this year… however it shouldn’t take a bad experience to get a good one later. I am trying to get together a guide for accessibility at races and I feel like anyone in the same situation with accessibility issues should get together and make ourselves be heard!

thank you so much for highlighting this issue! disabled fans are often an afterthought and the facilities are not equipped for *all* disabilities. i will say that at the british gp, i was pleasantly surprised to see a mobile "high dependency unit" which catere to the personal care of severely disabled people (with an overhead hoist and a changing table) and i was told there were a few around the track. this is something i am always concerned about at events like this because i know that my brother would require one. so any major sporting or entertainment event without one means he wouldn't be welcome

This thought crossed my mine when i was there. I was struggling all 3 days... navigating the crowd, hill, stairs. I saw a one-legged man with crutches in the long line and that sight really broke my heart. Can't help but wonder just how many more people with disability missed out on the f1 experience due to the lack of accessibility.

It is a luxury sports. It is far too luxury even to abled people who are not within F1 TARGET MARKET, especially ones with Madani tickets/vendors, who were in lucks government wanted to step in giving once awhile entertainment subsidiaries. Your "woke" statements only make super rich disabled people will give side eyes on you even your intentions were good for humanity.

Yea I was shocked to see disabled people queuing like us and was wondering why there wasn't a designated lane for them. Not just disabled folks, maybe for senior citizens too. My grandpa was going to the event with me but he couldn't stand for a long time, so I ask the authorities if my grandpa could find a seat and wait me near the entrance/bus while I queue. Glad the authorities understood the situation 👍
