🪸ARTIVISM: MORE THAN HUMAN🪸
Running till October 16, @exposure_ubc invites audiences to dare to listen to our ecologies through the 10th edition of ARTIVISM: More Than Human 🌎✨
ARTIVISM is Exposure UBC’s flagship arts and culture festival 🌟A student-led arts organization bringing together artists, thinkers, ecologists and communities to explore ways of knowing that exist beyond the human 🪱
Rooted in the belief that knowledge, memory and meaning live in the ecologies around us, More Than Human asks an urgent question:
What becomes possible when we stop placing our ways of knowing at the centre?
Through visual art, live performance, sound, film, workshops and community-led projects, this year’s festival explores multispecies thinking, the climate crisis, sensory and embodied practice, and the possibilities of building futures rooted in reciprocity and care 🌱🐝🌊
✨ UPCOMING PROGRAMMING:
📚 Naomi Klein & Astra Taylor: End Times Fascism and the Fight for the Living World
Thursday, Oct. 8 @ 7 PM
UBC Centre for Climate Justice
How can we resist the pervasive belief in impending doom while defending human dignity and imagining futures rooted in collective care, solidarity and hope?
🎟️ $30+
