As I take a step away from a church ministry I’ve served faithfully for 4 years, I’m realizing that my ministry has nothing to do with a specific church or ministry and it has everything to do with his calling for me. What’s my calling? Love the Lord in everything I do and everything he has entrusted me with. My ministry is to serve humbly, be a light to the world, and to be the joy in chaos. Because if I make my calling a specific church, ministry, talent, or career, that would leave me with nothing once he calls me to rest from it. I’m still learning to lay my crowns at the feet of Jesus, but man have I come a huge way. I’ve said it a million times but the most beautiful part of this season of my life has been the opportunity the Lord has given me to lead my girls in worship both at church and consistently at home.
