Shelly Hod Moyal

Today marks 3 years since I first came across Ella Kenan on X, on October 8, 2023.

I was immediately struck by her courage, creativity, humor and sheer balls in standing up in an incredibly hostile environment.

Like thousands of Israelis and supporters, I joined her growing network. I had no idea where it would lead.

What started as me being a bit of a groupie became a close partnership with Ella, Hadas Yogev Hart, our CEO, and a growing group of extraordinary people from high-tech and beyond, including many from the iAngels community.

We understood very quickly that another battlefield had been forming against us for decades. A battle over what people would see, believe and remember. A battle over hearts and minds.

Together, we built HereForGood to defend the facts around our history and present, and to make truth more present and accessible across Wikipedia, social platforms, search and AI.

Our approach is simple: build only if we have to, collaborate whenever we can, and do whatever gets the job done fastest and best.

But HereForGood is also one of many stories that began across Israel and the Jewish diaspora after October 7. Everywhere you looked, people stepped in, stepped up and used whatever they had to help.

After the worst thing that happened to us in my lifetime, witnessing the camaraderie and soulfulness of our people has been one of my deepest sources of optimism and purpose.

In that sense, HereForGood is exactly what its name says.

Here to help.
Here to build.
Here to remember and remind.
Here for the long term.
Here for good.

After 3 years of building, we’re finally coming out of stealth.

We’re also launching Dot., our AI platform for trusted knowledge on Middle East history and current events.

Ask a question. Check the sources. Understand the context.

You don’t need to be Israeli or Jewish.
You just need to care about truth.

Truth does not defend itself. We do.
