๐“…๐“‡๐‘œ๐’ป๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆ๐‘œ๐“‡ ๐‘’. \ arriving Today! #excited ๐™๐™–๐™ก๐™ก ๐™ฌ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ง 2026 @professore_official ~ Professor E. is a niche, highly conceptual fashion label founded in Taipei in 2017. What makes it particularly interesting is that โ€œProfessor Eโ€ is deliberately anonymous. They use a masked persona rather than presenting the label as a conventional designer brand. Their philosophy is that the clothing and materials should take precedence over the identity of the designer. The aesthetic embodies deconstruction and reconstruction with distressed and aged fabrics. A lot of hand-stitching, patching and raw edges in cotton, hemp, linen and other natural materials. Silhouettes are often loose, asymmetric and gender-fluid with references to East and West, historical clothing, military/workwear and artisanal traditions. The Forgotten Materials line is particularly important: garments are treated almost as one-off objects, with hand-dyeing, extensive stitching and reconstructed materials. Stylistically one could place Professor E. somewhere in the conversation between early Antwerp deconstruction, Japanese avant-garde, artisanal workwear and contemporary Taiwanese experimental fashion, but with a distinctly historical, fictional world of its own. #devastatorstoreatelier #professore
