Find ways to serve other people’s children.
It could be volunteering in children’s church ministry, serving in an orphanage, helping your neighbour’s children with their homework or subjects they find difficult, being a pillar of solid counsel to the teenagers in your community, teaching your nephews and nieces a sport, or even paying school fees for underprivileged children.
You don’t need to be a biological parent before you can pass on a good legacy.
There are so many children looking for adults who care about them enough to invest their time, resources and energy into them.
And with the free time you have while you wait, you can literally change the life of a child.

Live life. Life doesn't stop because you are waiting. Enjoy life! 7 years of still waiting has taught me that life doesn't pause, so enjoy the process, be happy, be sad, cry if you have you to, but don't wallow in the waiting, when you can fill your life with goodness. There's purpose to be fulfilled. Is it easy? No! But you have God to hold your hand however difficult the period is. And don't forget to have a posture of gratitude always 🫶🏾

Prioritize yourself first, keep yourself busy things you love. It’s hard not to worry too but sometimes worrying doesn’t do a thing instead be in a constant communication with your maker and in His time, He will make it happen. Amen

What I did when I was waiting... Anytime I got on a public bus, I paid the transportation fare of all the students I met on the bus. Two children after, I still always do.

Waiting, for anything, is a marathon and not a sprint. Even after you get the thing you desperately want, there will always be something else that requires you to wait. So learn to practice joy daily. Don’t postpone your joy until you finally get what you’re waiting for.
