Forest of Endless Circles at the Balloon Museum, by Cyril Lancelin, whose work often explores the intersection of architecture, geometry, and immersive sculpture. This was one of my favorite installations at the museum, and I thought it stood apart from some of the others that occasionally bordered on gimmicky or felt more like entertainment than art. The installation uses repeating inflatable forms and mirrors to create a seemingly endless labyrinth, playing with our perception of space and orientation. I enjoyed how the simplicity of the materials contrasted with the complexity of the space they created. It was one of the few installations where I felt the immersive element really added something beyond just being visually impressive for me personally.
