Hacer la croqueta en La Regalina es un privilegio ❤️🐾

$East Carolina freshman David Coleman Jr. is out with a broken leg after a referee slipped and crashed into him during Saturday’s game against Temple. The back judge was running in after a first half kickoff when he lost his footing and slid into Coleman’s leg, leaving the safety unable to put any weight on it. Coleman was helped off the field and taken to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a fractured fibula. ECU head coach Blake Harrell said the official was coming in to make sure players had heard the whistle and were separating when he slipped. Coleman, a three star recruit from Kingsland, Georgia, had seven tackles in his first season with the Pirates. ECU went on to win the game 17 to 9, improving to 4 and 4 on the season. #ecu #viral #football #collegefootball$

#KirkFranklin: “I thought getting married was going to fix that... When I got married and marriage didn’t fix that, I felt like a failure. And so I sat my wife down and I told her, said, ‘Hey, you know, there’s something I struggle with privately. And you know, she supported me”

#KandiBurruss: “When it came to you admitting that you had an addiction to p*rn, why? Why did you feel the need to share that?”

#KirkFranklin: “I wasn’t admitting that I had an addiction. I was talking about how I overcame an addiction to p*rn... Somebody overcomes something, they start giving a testimony.”

A Century of Mischief - ❓Which decade do you prefer❓

All made with Seedream 5.0 pro on @openart_ai MCP (link in bio)

We did every October of the last hundred years. The twenties gave us paper lanterns and a black cat who followed us home from a speakeasy, his tail flicking like a metronome set to jazz. The fifties were all about beeswax candles, their flames trembling in the October wind, dripping wax onto marigold petals like tiny amber tears. The seventies brought us a mesh dress that caught the light like a spiderweb, and a penthouse window overlooking a city that never slept: the other twenties, the one with neon signs and taxis that honked in time with our laughter.

Somewhere in the middle of it all we learned the trick of it, which is that a costume is only ever an excuse to be more yourself for one night. The decade does the talking. You just have to stand there, in the doorway, and not apologise for the room you are in.

Same three of us, same night, one century of excuses. Some decades got the candy: the good kind, the kind that sticks to your teeth and makes your fingers sticky. Others got the attitude, the kind that leaves lipstick on a collar or a dent in the wall where a heel dug in too hard. We never aged. We just changed the scenery, swapping one October for another like we were trying on coats in a department store, never quite settling on the one that fit, and never once paying for it.

🇫🇷 On n’a pas vieilli. On a juste changé de décor, comme on change de robe — et certaines décennies nous allaient mieux que d’autres.

Save this for the night you realise that some costumes never really go out of style at all.
