U Beogradu je, nakon duge i teške bolesti, u 66. godini života preminuo Goran Sivac, bivši poručnik Vojske Republike Srpske (VRS) i učesnik rata u Bosni i Hercegovini. Sivac je tokom rata obavljao dužnost komandira tenkovske čete Drugog bataljona Prve oklopne brigade Vojske Republike Srpske. Njegov ratni put započeo je na području Zapadne Slavonije, a učestvovao je i u vojnoj operaciji „Koridor“ 1992. godine.  Prema navodima RTRS-a, Sivac je sa svojim saborcima tokom ove operacije među prvima stigao do rijeke Save. Tokom rata dva puta je ranjavan, a nakon završetka ratnih sukoba ostao je upamćen među nekadašnjim pripadnicima svoje jedinice. Sivac je bio i jedan od sagovornika dokumentarnog serijala RTRS-a „Priče sa Koridora“, u kojem je govorio o ratnim događajima i iskustvima iz tog perioda. Mjesto i datum sahrane Gorana Sivca bit će naknadno objavljeni
