i realized i was getting burned out by my current reads, so i decided to start a new book to try and get in the spirit of spooky season! it’s definitely working🤣

killingly tells the story of the disappearance of bertha mellish, “the most peculiar, quiet, reserved girl” at holyoke college—and the only person who might have any clue what happened has gone strangely quiet🍂

cannot wait to read more of this gothic historical mystery novel, based on a real-life, unsolved case (i literally grabbed this book at a library sale for $1, talk about a steal!!!)
