Another familiar favourite is back - Kenya Kathande AA 😎
Our third and final lot this year from @kamavindicoffee, this year's lot of Kathande is similar but different! Still juicy but less stone fruit, still great on milk but more sweet than spice 😋
This lot from the Kathande Coffee Factory is a SL28 and Batian blend and undergoes the classic Kenyan fully washed process, with a two-stage fermentation. After pulping, the ripe cherries undergo an initial 20–24 hours of fermentation before being washed and fermented again for another 20 hours. The coffee is then washed, graded in channels and dried on raised African beds.
This process contributes to the clean cup, bright acidity and juicy sweetness that Kenyan coffees are known for. Now live and online! 🙌🏽
