Earlier this year, I had the absolute privilege of travelling to Ghana with @compassionuk to capture some incredible stories that we were so looking forward to sharing at @bigchurchfest. 💙

We wanted to show you what happens when local churches are given the support and resources they need to help children and families living in extreme poverty.

And what a JOY it was to see it for ourselves!

The laughter, the singing, the dancing, the friendships and, most importantly, the love and care being poured into these children. It was just wonderful.

Last year, hundreds of children from Ghana’s Savannah Region found sponsors thanks to the incredible generosity of the Big Church Festival community. And getting to go back and see the difference that support is already beginning to make was really quite special.

Of course, there’s still so much more to do. So many children and families who need that same hope and opportunity.

But this film is such a lovely reminder that when we come together, we really CAN make a difference. And that the local church can be such a powerful force for change.
