On October 23, I’ll be at Godmothers in Summerville in conversation with @kellyrizzo

Many of you know Kelly as the wife of the late Bob Saget. But in the years since Bob died suddenly in 2022, I’ve watched Kelly speak about grief, widowhood and finding her way forward with a combination of honesty and humor that I really appreciate.

So when I was asked who I wanted to be in conversation with about Crying Out Loud, Kelly made so much sense.

We’ve experienced very different losses, but we both know what it is to have life split into a before and an after, and then have to figure out how to live in the after.

I have a feeling we’re going to talk about the things that helped, the things that absolutely did not, how relationships change, what it means to love someone who is no longer physically here, and how you allow yourself to keep living without leaving them behind.
