Festival de las Calaveras

✨Celebrating the next generation of Latino, Latina, and Latinx artists who carry the spirit of Día de los Muertos forward. 💀

🌟Rising Voices Spotlight
Presented in partnership with @mnlatinoaffairs

Two decks. One stage. Two generations of Twin Cities DJs holding the floor.

🔥 DJ LUZIA FUCHSIA (Spotlight)

Multi-genre selector and multimedia artist. Their sets range from jungle to deep house to ambient techno to bachata and cumbia — with sonidos de la isla woven in to honor their Boricua ancestry. For nearly five years, they've been curating DIY events across the Twin Cities, creating liberatory spaces for QTBIPOC on the dance floor.

🔥 DJ MADRE ROSA (Stage)

First-generation Cuban, all-vinyl, born and raised in Minneapolis. Owner of Wax World Record Store and founder of DJ-U. The closing DJ who's been building this scene from behind the decks and behind the counter.
