You hired a wedding planner so you could have ONE less thing to worry about… so why are you the one chasing updates, asking questions and trying to make sure everything gets done? 👀

A wedding planner should be helping bring your vision to life, keeping things organised and taking some of that pressure off your shoulders.

Of course, wedding planning takes teamwork — but at what point does the bride end up doing the planner’s job for them? 😭

She ain't wrong, I had one consultant with a wedding planner and the call ended with her telling me "yeah we can't work together sorry" because I'm very particular and just like to do things myself looool...so have just opted for on the day coordination too. I don't need the anxiety of placing the whole planning in a strangers hands 🤣🤣🤣

That’s so sad to hear. I think vendors need to re sensitise themselves to gravity of the event they are working on. It’s unfair to treat a wedding as a throw away occasion

THIS IS SOO TRUE! I get married once and I don’t have room for “fixing “ mistakes . It just has to be perfect, give that room and right to want that from you !
