FUN IS OUT TODAY !!!!!!!! i am so proud of this song. sometimes the pain of strained love feels like a trap, and the only thing you can do with that pain is let it swallow you. i felt this pain, especially as a hopeless believer in the doctrine of ‘the right person will love you through all your difficulties and flaws’. it cuts especially deep when maybe that isn’t who you thought it would be. This song is half-ballad, half-kinda-wanna-dance-to-it which feels quite appropriate for the shifting turbulent emotion you feel when you love someone but you’re not quite sure if they still love you……. :(
