Me and my beautiful mom ❤️❤️
Since I’ve already shared a little appreciation post about my dad, it’s only fair that my mom gets her own special place on my profile too… and honestly, she deserves it 1000%. ❤️🥹
If there is one person who has been through almost every version of me, it’s my mom. The good, the bad, the emotional, the stubborn… and let’s be honest, the absolutely crazy teenage version of me. 😂❤️
My teenage years definitely weren’t the easiest for either of us, and I’m sure there were moments when she wondered how we would ever survive them. But we did. We went through the ups and downs, the arguments, the tears, the laughter, and all the little battles along the way. And somehow, through everything, we found our way to each other in a way that is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.
Today, she is not only my mom, but also one of my closest friends, my travel partner, my biggest supporter, and one of the most important people in my entire world. ❤️
We have shared so many beautiful moments together, collected memories in different places around the world, and created our own little adventures. Sometimes all we need is to pack our bags, leave Dad at home, and escape to the sea together like two best friends. 🌊☀️ Just us, new places, endless conversations, lots of laughter… and of course, Mom having to finish my drinks because apparently I can never manage to drink them all myself. 🤣🤣🍹
The older I get, the more I understand and appreciate the woman she is. She is an incredible human being, with a heart full of love, strength, kindness, and so much goodness. She is someone I look up to, someone who inspires me, and someone who reminds me of the kind of person I want to be.
She has given me so much more than I could ever repay. And although I might not always say it enough, I hope she knows just how deeply she is loved, appreciated, and valued.
I’m so grateful that, somewhere along the way, we grew from a mom and her crazy teenage daughter into two women who can laugh together, travel together, share secrets, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
No matter the lifetime, I’d always choose you as my mom. ❤
