Life lately, October edition!

First of all, how are we already 9 days into October?!

Took some PTO, drove to the other side of the island to catch up with a sweet friend and watch Verity. Because why NOT take a day off to go to the movies and have a little girl time?!

Work has been WORKING, school is schooling, and the to-do list is never-ending. BUT I’ve been doing pretty good about taking my mornings back. More reading, less scrolling, finding little things to do that don’t involve a screen, and actually clocking out when the workday is over!

And my evenings? Oh, we’re crafting, watching movies, hanging out with family, and getting into whatever hobby has my attention that week.

I’ve just been having a really good time lately. Nothing particularly fancy, just doing more of the things I actually enjoy.

And if this is how October is starting, I can’t wait to see what else we get into!

Speaking of which, what are we doing this weekend?! Anyone have fun plans? Because I’m always looking for an excuse to add something to my calendar.
