HARD HATS AND HANDSHAKES: President Trump greets construction workers and signs their hard hats during a visit to the site of the new White House ballroom. The visit comes as construction reaches a major milestone, with the final piece of steel placed for the new ballroom. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum tells workers they are “making history,” praising the project as a lasting addition to the White House that could stand for generations. The unscheduled visit marks Trump’s first public appearance since Tuesday’s midterm elections, which delivered major Democratic victories. Download the Fox News app or visit FoxNews.com for more on the ballroom project and Trump’s visit.
Nobody brings flowers for the friend who slowly became a stranger, or for the house you had to hand the keys back to. Some of the heaviest goodbyes happen while everyone is still alive. You are allowed to mourn what changed and still be grateful you were there for it. I wrote a poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ and it’s out now It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way. If you’d like to read it, comment “book” and I’ll send you the link [poetry, poet, thefallenpoe.t, grief, growing up, nostalgia, letting go, friendships change, missing old me, healing journey]
