Chances are, the other people in the room also want to chat, they’re just afraid to make the first move.
All it takes are a few words to open the door to conversation. Try these:
- I love your outfit/where did you get those shoes?
- How did you hear about this event/is this your first one with this group?
- Have you been here before/what’s good?
Go out into the world and meet someone new!

Legit making a video ab this rn!!! Another good one is NAILS! It’s a great physical observation intro bc it’s 1) obvious and Not creepy so an easy “in” to conversation and 2) allows for you to ask why they picked that deisgn/color! I like “oh! Perfect fall color, is that ur fav too!” Or “omg those designs, so cute, how did u pick those?” 💖💖
