I’ve spent so much time out on the water this summer that I’ve found myself thinking more and more about the ocean, and how little I actually know about it.
So, I spent a day at the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) to learn more about the incredible work being done to understand and protect our ocean. From seagrass science and marine robotics to tiny ocean organisms, I got a behind-the-scenes look at some of the brilliant work happening right here in Scotland - and I’m SO excited to share this with you!!!
I’m also putting 10% of the profits from my YouTube videos towards marine conservation projects across Scotland, and my very first donation went straight to SAMS 💙 @samsmarinescience

Your SAMS video. One comment summed it up: “Came for the sailing... got educated in marine science!” Putting 10% of your YouTube money into Scottish marine projects is a lovely touch. Are you planning more science episodes like this one?
