Was blessed to be able to spend the last two and a half weeks before my deployment with my family in Texas.
As always, the photos tell but a handful of highlights:
1) I drank so much Dr. Pepper.
2) I don't even like Dr. Pepper.
3) Someone tell my brother that "Avocado" is not a type of cheese.
4) The man is *immune* to roller coasters. No, really.
5) Just had to immortalize this one.
6) Somehow I went all 29 years of my life without realizing that JFK was shot in Dallas.
7) Getting to actually see the same view of the shooter was trippy.
8) Lots of dino-themed things in this part of Texas. This was just down the road from the state park that had the actual paleontology happening
9) They were even casting some of the fossilized prints while we were there.
10) Crazy that this was still there after millions of years.
Enjoyed a lot of the small comforts I may not see for the next six months. Like heat.
