every book I read in October ranked from least favorite to favorite 📖🍂🕯️ Sorry in advance for any hurt feelings bc i know my *least favorites* are very beloved books. I think it’s just another example of my taste having changed in the last year or so. Although, i did have a fantasy as my second favorite of the month, which was a pleasant surprise! It feels like i blinked and October came & went, so it’s surreal to see that i did in fact read quite a few books this month. Now I’m really looking forward to my November reading bc i am starting my Hunger Games reread before Sunrise on the Reaping releases 🥲 Let me know your favorite reads from October & what you’re looking forward to reading in November! #readingwrapup #octoberreads #bookrec #fallbooks #bookrecommendations

Shoebox filled with Microns. I was cleaning my office and seem to always have dry pens. It's so annoying. Occasionally I'll just take all of one brand of tool and put then together like this. And then chip away at the collection in a pretty ruthless way. I've tried to refill microns with limited success. Rarely do I destroy the tip pushing too hard. They just dry out and then are pretty much toast. They've gotten kinda pricey. And I hate to chuck them in the trash. #microns #pigmapens #traditionalart #penandink #pigmamicron
I was doing storyboards for Over the Garden Wall (which was still being called Tome of the Unknown at the time - which is why it says that on the storyboard template) and had this musical sequence in the outline. Here’s a screenshot from the text exchange when I asked @davidvstevenson to write the song based on the title phrase I suggested. I think he wrote and recorded the demo overnight. Then I drew the storyboards for that scene based on his lyrics. Later The Blasting Company and Colin Dean recorded the final version for the show. #overthegardenwall. #potatoesandmolasses
When you share your life on Instagram as openly as I do, occasionally a little dirty laundry needs airing. 🧺😂 Apologies, folks, but rather than spend the next six months answering a flooded inbox of “Where's he gone?” messages, here's a little life update. I've spent years being everyone's safety net. Funny how the moment you stop catching people, you're suddenly the selfish one. Anyway, the laundry's aired, the boundaries are up, and the bank is officially CLOSED. 💅✨ #TheBankIsClosed #SettingBoundaries #KnowYourWorth #ReclaimingMyLife #NoMorePeoplePleasing
