Last week I co-hosted a @claudeai Community Build Day for Mental Health, in partnership with @elevenlabs, ahead of World Mental Health Day.

I had the opportunity to speak with Chethan Sarabu, MD @chethans — inaugural Director of Clinical Innovation at the Health Tech Hub at Cornell Tech’s @cornelluniversity Jacobs Institute and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at @stanford Medicine — who has spent his career building portals, EHRs, virtual trials, AI biomarkers, and health information policy — all through a lens of equity and transparency.

His team spent the day on adverse childhood experiences — the trauma that drives both mental and physical illness for decades afterward — and built a therapist-guided family therapy app where an AI agent supports a teen and their parents between sessions, with every message consent-gated and safety concerns routed straight to the clinician.

As a practicing pediatrician, Chethan is working to connect the dots between pediatricians and builders.
