PLATOON 6 WINS BIG, BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL COMPETITION AT EDO CAMP
Platoon 6 has emerged as the winner of the Big, Bold and Beautiful (BBB) Competition held during the social night at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Okada, Edo State. Platoon 7 emerged as the first runner-up, while Platoon 8 secured third place.
The event commenced with the opening remarks of the State Coordinator, Mr. Fasina Adedotun Julius, who was ably represented by the Camp Director, Mr. Etsu Mu’azu Idris. He encouraged corps members to relax, have fun, and enjoy the programme. The event was proudly sponsored by Chowdeask, which provided gift items for the winners of the competition.
The competition began with a joint introductory dance by all the contestants, followed by individual appearance.
The contestants subsequently appeared in their full NYSC uniforms before answering questions designed to assess their confidence, intelligence, and ability to respond under pressure.
At the end of the presentations, Miss Okoronkwo Gloria (LA/26C/5636), representing Platoon 6, emerged as the winner of the competition. The crown was presented to her by the Camp Director, Mr. Etsu Mu’azu Idris. Miss Onwuanaku Juliet (LA/26C/2627) of Platoon 7 emerged as the first runner-up, while Miss Salawu Afeesat B. (LA/26C/6138) of Platoon 8 secured third place.
The competition also featured musical performances, individual presentations, and dance displays, adding glamour, excitement, and entertainment to the evening.
