This was such a physically and mentally challenging trip. Pushed too hard day one and got very sick back at camp not sure if I would make it down the next day. The plan was to summit Fairchild the next day, but a change in plans meant spending the day by the lake and meeting some incredible people. Shout out Sandy who is 69 years old and still backpacking by herself in Colorado and with friends in the dolomites in Italy, you inspire me. 💚
