Six years, and somehow we still find our way back to the beginning. You are my best friend and the love of my life, and I’ve never had to choose between the two. Every season we’ve been through, the busy ones and the hard ones, has carried us back to that same honeymoon glow, as if our hearts keep a secret map to the place where we first fell. You still make ordinary days feel like a first date. Your laugh still stops me mid-sentence, and your hand in mine still feels like coming home. Time was supposed to make it quieter, but with you it has only grown deeper and warmer, and more certain. I cherish every moment of it: the way we still choose each other, still find each other, still fall for each other all over again. If this is what six years feels like, I can’t wait to spend a lifetime learning how much more there is to love.
