Mueller Half Marathon has become a tradition for me. It started with a love for the fall foliage on beautiful trails. It has grown into a wonder experience with friends each year. This year I got there early to volunteer and my friend @theutahflyguy joined . We Helped get things set up and with packet pick up.

Then It was time to run. The first few miles on the rd went pretty quick. Got up the fire rd and to the trail. The wind would blow the leaves 🍂 and it was so magical. As I got to the ridge before Rudy’s there was a bit of rain and some thunder and lighting. After Rudy’s it was a fun down hill ride. My eyes started getting itchy and I was wheezing a bit ,but I knew I could push through. I forgot to take allergy medicine. I believe I also could have used some electrolytes. I got to the finish line and I was so thrilled I had set a new PR and place in my age. Then I got to be there to cheer the other runners in. Eventually helping with medals. My littles soccer game was canceled so I stayed to help with take down as well and it was such a cool experience to see a race from set up to finish.
