Today, we're celebrating Louisiana's most iconic and delicious dish: gumbo! Here in Louisiana, gumbo is so much more than just a meal. It's a tradition, a way of life, and a whole lot of love and passion in one bowl.
Catch me and Chef Cory Bahr on NBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, or CW affiliates and radio in Little Rock, Ft. Smith, Monroe, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Mobile, Tyler, Shreveport, Houston, and New Orleans this morning, showcasing the history, technique, and traditions behind gumbo!
We also have Louisiana chefs in New York, Denver, Austin, and Los Angeles hosting gumbo cooking classes and demonstrations today, sharing our amazing Louisiana culture and flavor with audiences nationwide!
