Happy birthday to the nation’s first public university! 🩵 🐑
To celebrate, we’re holding a Carolina trivia contest outside of Wilson Library today from 11 am to 1 p.m! Trivia contestants will have the chance to win a copy of UNC A to Z, written by Cecelia Moore and Nicholas Graham.
While you’re at Wilson Library, make sure to see the two special artifacts on display related to UNC history: the original plaque placed into the cornerstone of Old East in 1793 and a diploma from Carolina’s very first commencement in 1798. These items are on display for today only, so make sure to stop by!
