D. W. Daniel High School Bands

Meet Quinn Simon! Quinn has been playing percussion for 7 years and has been a member of the marching band 5 years. Quinn is also our Battery Section Leader. He was to go to Tulane University and major in environmental science. His favorite band memory is the percussion crawfish dinner at Mr Allen’s house after winning every show in percussion that season. Quinn’s favorite band quote is “Do your duty and squeeze your booty” -Mr. Kelly. A piece of advice for underclassmen is to not skip out on those days in a practice room when you don’t feel like it, and don’t be that dude that never participates in anything with your section, “trust me it’s a lot of fun.”
