Could AI animation eventually challenge Pixar?

This AI-generated short follows a fearless platypus as it escapes crocodiles, outruns a wolf, leaps off a cliff, and ends up in a ridiculous high-speed motorcycle chase through the desert.

What stands out is the quality of the animation. The character expressions, detailed environments, camera movements, and action sequences look like something you'd expect from a big-budget animated movie.

And AI video generation is improving at an incredible pace. Scenes that once required teams of skilled animators and weeks of work are becoming easier and faster to produce with AI.

What do you think?

Another lap around the sun 🥂✨ blessed to step into my new year and new chapter in life with more love, abundance, wisdom, protection, discipline and grace. This year has been a blessing in so many ways, so many answered prayers, so many timeless memories, so much love and happiness… & fun too 😇 I pray I continue growing stronger in my faith, evolving as a Proverbs 31 woman, producing good fruits of the spirit, and walking a path of righteousness in the best ways that i can.
